Really nice plane, this is the first RC plane I have ever bought and flown, before I have enjoyed micro-helicopters in the lounge instead.
It flies really good and on my first flight, I flew it in slightly windy conditions which I wouldn't reccommend on a maiden flight, minor damage to the wing tips resulted, but a really good flyer and so much fun too. I will enjoy this alot.
Can't wait for the next flight... |

Bought this as my first plane about 2 weeks ago now, and wow, what a good 2 weeks it has been, the plane flies very smoothly and when the ACT is on you can do everything you would normally (apart from loops etc) without the fear of nose diving into the dirt (as I have done) but if it does happen then parts are cheap and can be repaired within about 30 minutes. When the plane is flying in the sky it looks natural and smooth such a great sight. Recommend this plane to everyone who is thinking about buying one! experience or no experience a great flyer and great fun. |

Bought this as my second plane after a disaster with my P-51d mini, this kit came with everything included in the box and within two hours it was put together and i was on my way.
I only had about two hours flying experience and flew this straight off without the ACT for about half an hour on the thermals.
handles like a dream very easy to land and very durable. battery seemed to last for ages and only had to stop when doing a loop about 200ft up and on the dive the wind caught it and blew it into an oak tree resulting in a smashed front cowling and losing the landing gear but all easily replaced for minimal cost.
I would highly recommend this plane great fun |

Bought my super cub lp from here and have flown it about 5 times now, crashed into a tree, nose dived to the ground which resulted in minor damage but easily repaired. Amazing little plane! |

Bought spares from here for my super cub and pz spitfire. its a lovely flyer. what i have done is put a bf109 prop on it and it slows it down so you can do some awesome fly pasts with it. a definate recomendation as it taught me to fly and will no doubt teach my dad to fly too! great little plane! |

I have only flown my Cub once before today and crashed it into a tree on that occasion due mainly to inexperience and a poor choice of flying location. But today i went out again and even though i was nervous before the flight it went very well for at least 5 minutes before i crashed again but only a minor crash this time which was easily repaired. So all in all a great success and a very nice plane to fly.

My father in law has the original Super Cub which I had flown a few times and was doing ok with. Bought the Lipo model and don't regret a thing. My father in law is annoyed at how much more power the new one has over the old, especially as I have just bought 2 sonic combat modules for us!
If you are thinking about it, just buy it! I fly with a friend who has 3 nitros, Pitts Special, SU 26 and a Newport and he loves the Cub too. I'ts relaxing to fly and perfect for cutting your teeth with. Very robust, would take a major crash to really mess it up and parts are so cheap and readily available so it's easy to put back up in the air.
Go on treat yourself, you wont regret it! I haven't, I love it!!! T28 Trojan next I think. |

I received my Super Cub in the post and have flown (crashed) it alot over the weekend. I love it. It's my first rc plane and I've been researching the great Squadron Leader site for a few months now and speaking to the very helpful team on the phone. I was initially disappointed at the seemingly unjustified price increase. Not now though, I see it includes a LiPo battery and a mains charger which I was going to pay extra for anyway.
I repeatedly smashed it up on my first day's flying which required some repairs (half the fun) and it was up flying straight the next day when it got stuck up a tree. The third day I nailed it, no crashes, what a classy little trainer! So far all crashes have required no spares...see how long that lasts. Thanks Squadron Leader.
