Where are all the spares?
We have just had an update from our intrepid captain Billy “Bullshark” Mc Cluless from the good ship “Destination Doubtful”.
We have just executed a small detour due to a new land mass anomaly that can only be attributed to a recent massive seismic event. My 1st officer identified the previously unnoticed land whilst reviewing the charts. In response to this we have ventured into deeper water and are now circumnavigating the island whilst maintaining a safe distance of 150 miles from the shore.
The additional delays will be in excess of 4 days! Over and out………..
Captain’s Update……..
3 ½ days into our detour, it transpires that the anomaly is not new land mass as previously identified by my 1st Officer, but is in fact a coffee stain on the sea chart!
We have resumed our previous course and should be with you sometime in the not too distant future.
