Honesty Stock Policy

Are you fed up with ordering items from a website and after your purchase be told by the Shop Owner that the item isn’t in stock... and you’ll have to wait... and wait… and wait…Then, after 7 weeks of waiting… the items might turn up if you’re lucky!

Here at Squadron Leader, we have an Honesty Stock Policy. All of the items on our website are controlled by a real-time stock control system. This means that the stock count as displayed against the item (see picture to the right) is accurate to the second.

So, what do the various descriptions of stock mean? Please see below:

‘##’ In Stock: This is the true number of items that we currently have in stock. When an item(s) is ordered through the website, the stock is automatically deducted – hence ‘real time’.

In Stock: We have this item constantly available OR we can obtain the item easily enough from the distributor. Please note, delivery timescales may be extended if we have to obtain from the distributor and these are normally indicated in the Product’s Overview.

Currently Out Of Stock: The item is out of stock until we receive a new delivery. The stock will be updated the moment we receive the items.

So, when another website says they have the item in stock, why not give them a call before placing the order… because through our experience, it is more often the case that little porky pies are being told.
