The Flight of the Phoenix (Part II)

The Crash: An eyewitness account by Pilot Officer Paul Miller.

"As you will see from the photographic and video evidence, I am once again requesting inclusion into The Fallen.

I re-built the 'Phoenix' as she is now known and took her to work for a lunch time flight with some work colleagues. However, due to inclement weather we had to postpone.

The following day, with good visibility and only a slight head wind, we all set out at lunch for the flight.

After a couple of duff launches (I haven’t included those as they are so lame), Dave 'The Biscuit' Wells decided a running launch was our best chance of getting airborne.

As you can see from the initial launch, brief flight was achieved...and all was well.

On with the second flight.......... B****r!"
