'The Fallen' - The Flight of the Phoenix - 02/10/07

Paul Miller realised his childhood ambition having purchased a ParkZone Spitfire Mk IIB from Squadron Leader for his 40th birthday.

In his wisdom, Paul decided to bypass the instructions and instead head straight for his local cow field...

"CRUNCH!"

With dented pride, minor damage and a quick visit to Squadron Leader, Paul reassembled his mighty Spit and was ready to do battle again...

"Chocks Away"………"CRRRRUNCH!"

Paul… It takes guts to get back into the pilot's seat after a prang. We commend your determination and congratulate you on winning replacement parts to get you airbourne once again. This Phoenix will certainly rise from the ashes.

We plough the fields and scatter!

It's amazing the Spit didn't melt in the ensuing inferno!
