'The Fallen' - A Member of the Squadron Falls - 29/07/07

What do you get if a member of Squadron Leader takes out his HobbyZone Super Cub? That’s right, a spectacular crash with the most crash-resistant plane ever built... We know that crashing planes is all part of the fun but honestly, when he brought back his plane looking as it does below, we couldn’t believe it… there’s no way a Super Cub can get that damaged after just one crash. Then the truth was revealed… this was in fact about the 20th crash that the Super Cub had been in (notice all the Duck Tape on the wreckage). The final crash obviously being the biggest of them all. Seeing as this crash victim works for Squadron Leader, I think we will have to keep an eye on the Stock Levels just to make sure a Super Cub doesn’t suddenly go missing. So, the truth at Squadron Leader… we do fly the planes we sell and we do crash them – badly! Well done ‘G’.
